Each investigation has learning outcomes for students to master, such as formulate a hypothesis that can be tested empirically, i.e., based on observation; describe the chemical composition of carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids; and many, many more. All Biology Series kits include a Starter Pack that contains common laboratory and safety equipment used throughout the investigations. The Dissection Set, Distance Learning Microscope, and/or Botany Equipment Set may also be included depending on the investigations you select.
